Kat & Proa : Turning a Canadian canoe into a sailing outrigger with some help from Gary Dierking's book: 'Outrigger Sailing Canoes'. In German.

Wakataitea Tiki 46 : The adventures of Wakataitea ("nice day"), a Wharram Tiki 46 rigged as an Oceanic lateen sloop.

Apacolypso Designs : Pacific canoe culture inspired sailing canoes made from aluminum pontoons and bamboo. Intrigued? Me too.

Siam Sailing : Siam Sailing offers sailing charters out of Phuket on James Wharram designed catamarans - from a 24' Hitia beach cruiser to a fully crewed Islander 55. Something for the "must do before I die" list.

Roxane and Romilly : Phil Holden's blog about sailing and ownership issues around the Nigel Irens designed neo-traditional lug yawls Roxane and Romilly. A great resource for the lug obsessed!

Tom Speer’s Shunting Foil Sections : Tom Speer is a Boeing aerodynamicist who used computer voodoo to create a foil section with fore and aft symmetry, suitable for a shunting proa. On the water reports show that the new foils perform as expected, that is... as well as traditional "teardrop" foils. An important step forward in proa development.

Boat Bits : A live aboard sailor's blog from St. Martin. I like his taste in boats.

Lunada Design : Chris Ostlind designs and builds elegant plywood smallcraft - most notably extremely cool trimarans.

Tacking Outrigger : The website of Peter Evans and his designs. Includes a comprehensive photo list of tacking outriggers.

Seventy Point Eight Percent : Sailing, small boats and insightful musings from "mostly armchair sailor" Thomas Armstrong.

Arpex : The blog of Rio de Janeiro based Peter Mirow: design and build of a sailing outrigger canoe.

Inigo Wijnen : Big proas for ocean voyaging and expeditions, built and operated with sustainability in mind.

Slider Cat : A 16', plywood camp cruising catamaran by Ray Aldridge.

Chine Blog : Tim Shaw's collection of thoughts and opinions about traditional small boats and the culture that surrounds them.

Amateur Boatbuilding : As the name says, devoted to boats suitable for amateur construction. Includes forum and gallery.

Out Your Back Door : Jeff Potter's site devoted to the outdoors and DIY culture. A great resource.

Outrigger Sailing Canoes : The blog of Gary Dierking, designer of proas and outrigger canoes in New Zealand. Nice blog, very nice boats.

Sailing Anarchy : "Where the status quo blows". Racing news and gossip. Widely read.

Canoes of Oceania : Harmen Hielkema blogs about his native-inspired proas from New Zealand.

Never Sea Land : A blog from Northern California with an excellent eye for all things maritime, most notably a Mermaid of the Day.

A Tiki in Thailand : Building a Tiki 38 on the edge of the South China Sea, with plenty of time left over for excellent blogging.

Canoe Sailing Magazine : A promising new online magazine that encompasses the entire sport of canoe sailing, from historical and classic craft up to today’s high-tech recreational and competition canoes. Edited by Ed Maurer.

Wikiproa : "This site is intended to be a repository for articles on sailing proas, whether home or professionally built, modern or historical".

K-Proa : Interesting site by Timothy Kingman about his model experiments and development of a force-stabilized proa.

Triloboats : The Trilobyte 16: build your own crab-claw rigged, birdwatcher-like cabin, sailing micro barge.

Cheap Pages : Craig O'Donnell's collection of bamboo, junk rig and proa pages - includes a proa FAQ, American proas, and more.

James Francis Boats : Pocket cruiser proas from Australia.

Proa Web Sites : Great list of sites about bilaterally asymmetrical sailboats.

Peak Energy : Blogger from Seattle with more to say than most on one of my favorite subjects.

Balogh Sail Designs : High performance Batwing sail rigs and inflatable outriggers for rigid kayaks, folding kayaks, and open canoes. Designs by Mark Balogh.
