Walap42 -  just a dream right now.  I have been enamored with the proa concept for several years.  Born in Florida I now live in Minnesota.  I am nearing a point where I can begin working out ideas in 3-D.  I recently posted in another area.

I have lots of drawings, in various sizes, but I keep coming back to one based more on appearance than anything else.  Oh well. 

I think I’ve read a ton of material about the crab claw, and shunting.  It seems contemporary Proas opt for non-traditional rigs of various design, mostly white-bread Marconi.  I hope I can make the Claw work for me.

This site has been a source of a lot of my info and inspiration, and I hope (once I master uploading pictures) to share the project as it takes shape.

I may test my single-handed shunting rig on ice next winter (If we get any).  Very short building season here, unless you want to double your costs heating your shed.
