Hello to all,

My name is Hugo, and I’ve been living in the Cayman Islands for for a couple of years now.

The greatest thing about it is that it allowed me to learn to sail, and finally start building boats, things I’ve dreamed about for many years.
I’m a beginner, both at sailing and boat building, and make lots of mistakes in both, but I slowly learn and more importantly have a great time doing so!

I find this forum very interesting and the members very friendly and helpful, and for sure more knowledgeable than me, so am really happy to take all I can and give back the little experience and ideas I have.

Also, I apologize if I some times don’t express myself clearly, I’m portuguese and that’s my excuse!;-)

Cheers

Hugo

Hi and most welcome to the forums Hugo!

It is great to have you here.
I love your Proud Mary proa.

I’m a beginner, both at sailing and boat building, and make lots of mistakes in both, but I slowly learn and more importantly have a great time doing so!

Having fun and learning at the same time, is what it is all about.

Cheers,
Johannes
