Hello, everyone. Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening- whatever it is when you are reading this.
This is The Enemy, and I hail from near Houston.
Not sure what else to say, really- Well, to start off, my sailing knowledge is more theoretical than practical- I have read more books about sailing, than times I have actually sailed, in other words. So, take everything I say with a grain of salt, I just don’t have the knowledge base that others do on this forum.
That said, it is nice to finally post on the forum, instead of just lurking.
Welcome to the forum! Why “the enemy?”
Dave
No particular reason, other than the fact that it is my normal forum ‘handle’, really. I feel as if I am in the company of giants, here.
Hi
I’m in Lake Jackson, south of Houston. Where are you? Are you building a boat, or just interested in proas?
Kevin
Just interested in Proas, myself- I have a horrible attention span. I’ll focus on something for a few months, then I’ll focus on something else, leaving the first thing to sit- so I’m trying to avoid that at this point. That said, this is the second or third time (cycle, attention focused on sailing and proas) that I’ve had, if not more, so, I’m not really sure. I’m about half an hour from Cypress (Northwest side of Houston, I work in the Houston Premium Outlets there), and I’d rather not get any more precise with my location, at least for now. Nice to meet you!

You’re in good company then…
Huh. I didn’t think of it that way, but I guess that is true. Nice to meetcha..
Welcome to the forum, Kevin. 😊
My name is not Kevin, so you may be mistaken. Sorry.
