I saw this kustom kayak sailing system on Craigslist Seattle today. I’ve always appreciated the modular, tinker-toy aspect of small sailing canoes, Gary Dierking’s designs being particularly excellent in this aspect. Here’s another approach.

Selling a custom-made catamaran/trimaran/proa kayak system. This boat was designed to be assembled using the same heavy-duty aluminum poles and fittings in many ways, including as a catamaran, a trimaran or 2 individual proas. This is an overbuilt system that has seen very heavy water with no issues…has been up to 14 knots in the trimaran configuration.
