I just want to let you all know that if you want to see what top flight boats, with hungry crews, duking it out in anger looks like, watch the Youth America’s cup coverage.  My daughter and I went out to watch the action today, and it was the best shoreside racing I have EVER seen.  Everything leadminers complain about in mulithull racing (no tactics, just boat speed) was notably absent.  They tangled.  They were forcing each other over.  They were cutting it sliver close at the marks.  It was amazing.

I just wish the 72s were going to deliver like this.  But foilers are the new multis….Maybe next time…
