How to paddle a 700lb steel canoe

As it turns out, once we got the canoe in the water not only did it float extremely well, but it handled much like a regular canoe. It definitely didn’t feel like it weighed 700lbs. We all took turns paddling it in the pouring rain.

I found this on the net today. I know it is not a proa, but it is a canoe.
I like it! I think it is beautiful. It seems stable enough to stand up in without going for a swim.
