Hi From Scot, a new member
Hi everyone,
The last few weeks have opened up a whole new area of sailing that I was not previously aware of and as a result I’m hooked. I now plan to build a 7 metre Proa that I can use to cruise around our beautiful Queensland (Australia) coastline.
Im 56 years young and have been sailing most of my life in dinghys and keelboats. I love sailing and adventure—see my profile.
I’m hoping that I can learn a great deal from you all over the next couple of years and beyond. Hopefully I can also share what I know and have learned.

Welcome Scot! I had a look at your profile - you’re a handsome devil aren’t you 😊 and I read your adventure with great interest. I think I’d be way too scared of crocs to attempt something like that. But goodonya for doing it. It’s a great accomplishment. I’m sure it is a memory both you and your son treasure.
