Seaflyer was launched in October, 1984. It was a flying hydrofoil, canted-rig proa designed by Patrick Cudmore. It was the subject of an article in SAIL magazine, January 1985 (ISSN 0036 2700), page 89. More about the design at Mr. Smith’s Amazing Sailboats.

Seaflyer was part of a series of three foilers by Cudmore, I finally found a picture of Hydrocat here.

Patrick Cudmore passed away on 7 October 2001, of a heart attack. To quote a close friend of his - “Patrick was an amazingly unique individual and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.”
